Bookkeeper - Residential Property Management

Real Property Management Canada, a leading company in the Property Management industry, is seeking a talented and experienced bookkeeper to join our remote team. As a bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of a number of our franchise partners. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in Canada.

Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording transactions, posting invoices, and reconciling accounts, responding to franchise partner inquiries.

- Prepare monthly financial reports and monthly reporting to our investors

- Process accounts payable and receivable, including rent collection and vendor payments

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for each property

- Collaborate with franchise partners to ensure accurate financial reporting

- Provide exceptional customer service to our franchise partners, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally

- Train franchise partners on financial processes and software systems

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements related to bookkeeping and property management

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role, preferably in residential property management

- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively

- Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal

- Proficient in using bookkeeping software and Google Suite

- Experience with property management software is a plus

- Familiarity with Canadian tax regulations and reporting requirements

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Salary: $41,600.00-$52,000.00 per year
